Phillip Lim's Spring 2013 optical and sunglass designs are inspired by comic books and superheroes. The inspiration was subtly displayed on the runway with pieces such as capes and strong tailoring accents that represent power. Keeping functionality at the heart of his work, Phillip Lim presents his Spring 2013 collection without the expected clichés associated with a comic book theme. Phillip Lim continues to produce unexpected and unique frames and sunglasses that push the boundaries of eyewear design and further convey each collection's concept. Spring 2013 innovative designs include enamel lined edging, unique semi-rim constructions and optional sun clip additions. Frames are available in colors such as crystal vapor, crystal black, mahogany, navy, green tortoise, black, antique white, dark gun and putty.
